on my first day I was talking to some people about words people say in Australia and I now know that they just weren’t my kind of people but at the time I thought they were sort of everyone and they were like yeah we say “sick” it means “cool” etc. etc. and they were like oh! c_nt! We say that all the time, like to each other too. Like “hey c_nt! how are you?!” and they kept saying it and I thought that was just what everyone did and they said it like twelve times and then I cried.
